Promote psychotherapy to young adults and adults through a fresh and inviting approach, enticing them to schedule their first therapy session by creating a sense of safety and openness to talk.

Optimizing Conversion Rates by using a Mobile-First Minimal Conversational UI.
Designed to engage and prepare potential clients, our approach aims to foster an open state of mind, where individuals feel safe, understood, and ready to embark on their first psychotherapy consultation.
On mobile, we prioritize the chat function, ensuring a personal and seamless conversion with easy access for individuals seeking psychotherapy support.

Upon page loading, we introduce the message "Be cool, talk with a specialist!" to provide context for the user, encouraging them to engage with our platform and seek support from a specialist.
The Chat
Utilizing a micro-interaction to simulate typing, we aim to spark interest and guide users toward a state of mind open to conversation. By prompting them to share brief information about their needs, we lay the groundwork for a later follow-up, fostering a personalized and supportive interaction.
The Reaction
We provide visual feedback as a reward for sharing, stimulating dopamine secretion and fostering a personal bond with the user. This builds trust and prepares them for the next step - scheduling their therapy session.

This brief pause allows the user to digest the reaction effect, creating anticipation and deepening engagement with our platform.
The proposal...
We provide a generic yet empathetic reply, offering a hook such as a 15-minute free consultation and emphasizing keywords like "professional help." This encourages users to take the next step towards seeking support.

We seamlessly integrate the Calendly scheduling system directly within the chat interface, streamlining the process for users to book their therapy session effortlessly.
The Email...
To extract value from any outcome, including negative ones, we request the user's email. This lays the groundwork for future scheduling and assists us in our marketing efforts.





Defining the brand experience is an essencial and powerful aspect in creating a strong emotional bound between the user and the product.
Understanding the usage contexts of the app and the cultural background, was essencial in creating a clear idea of the tonal expectations of our users. To define the personality of our brand, we developed a set of experience principles. These were used to sense‐check design decisions, articulate core values and describe key attributes the app experience should uphold for both the users and the brand. The principles were used constantly to drive the aesthetic, feel and overall tonal direction of the app.
